Whole Food Plant Based Biweekly Food Haul

  1. Simply Lemonade with Raspberry
  2. Vegetables: Two bags spinach, one frozen corn, two green peppers, one large zucchini (I mean look how big that is) and a head of brocolli
  3. Tofu Cutlet: If anyone know how to cook this let me know because the package doesn’t have instructions and I’ve never bought this kind before.
  4. Pantry: Two boxes of brown rice, one can of low sodium black beans, one can of low sodium pinto beans, and hot sauce
  5. Fruit: Pinapple, three granny smith apples, one (already eaten) honey crisp apple, and two nectarines

All together around $30.

Already in my fridge/pantry: half a jar of peanut butter, half a container of oats, three red potatoes, 1/2 cup rice, corn tortillas and soy milk.

  1. It’s nice to see what other people buy (especially in other countries). Your tofu cutlet confused me as it says it has brown edges? Isn’t it a block of ready to cook tofu? I have several yummy recipes on my blog (search ‘tofu’) which I think this would work in – sizzling tofu or crunchy spiced tofu chips 🙂 I use all of the ingredients which you have (except I use almond not peanut butter) – what are you going to do with them all?
