There is something called congenital heart disease (I have it) but that is something that a person is born with. I’m talking about dietary heart disease. The heart disease that can be cured and caused by dietary factors.
What causes heart disease?
Cholesterol plays a big part. As do saturated fat. Both of which is only found in animal products. Like butter, cheese, cream cheese, and milk made from animal milk (cow, goat, ect). Meat (chicken, pork, fish, beef, any flesh of an animal) and eggs.
The SAD (Standard American Diet) is the culprit. A whole foods plant based diet, however, does not. It has no cholesterol and no saturated fat. Limit your intake of processed foods (brownies, chips, cookies), oils, soda, high fructose corn syrup and you’re set.
The American Heart Association even advocates a vegetarian/vegan diet: heart.org
