Now’s The Time to Take a Stand

If you don’t already know Ben and Jerry’s is releasing dairy free vegan ice cream in about 4-6 weeks, depending on where you live. Now Ben and Jerry’s obviously isn’t a vegan company. They still have dairy ice cream and continue to torture cows for it. Even if it’s not necessary at all.

But I think that buying these kinds of products. Making them sell out in stores. Will make Ben and Jerry’s to start thinking that they need to produce more. Especially if their non-dairy ice cream sell more than their dairy ice cream. A girl can dream.

I also sent them an email from their website thanking them for providing dairy free options and that I can eat their ice cream and still be in line with my morals. Here is the actual email I sent.

“I wanted to thank you for providing non-dairy vegan options. It’s a little difficult for me to find ice cream that doesn’t have dairy in it. Its the one thing that I missed since becoming vegan but now I can eat ice cream and still be in line with my morals. I will be buying a lot of them when they come out in 4-6 weeks. Hopefully they will be provided at Smart and Final in Escondido, CA since there isn’t any non-dairy ice creams at that store.”

Vegans should start emailing Ben and Jerry’s and flood their inbox with happy vegan messages. This is how we can make a change.

  1. I’ve been waiting for this ice cream for every. Super excuted it’s here. I agree, I think we should all just keep buying the non-dairy formula and make them produce more……. That may mean I’ll have to take up some excercise routine though.
