Sex-Education

teenvogue.com/story/public-school-marriage-prevents-stds

I saw this on my news feed and have to comment. How is this a bad thing? Apparently telling teenagers to keep their legs closed until they get married is somehow bad. I mean, I’m 22 and can proudly say I’ve never had sex. And I am waiting until marriage. My high school experience wasn’t bad because of it. Actually, I focused on school and hanging out with my friends. Got good grades and focused on my future. Same as my four years of college, have one year left. I was able to not worry about things and to focus on trying to figure out my passions in life and what I want to pursue.

I think that schools need to rethink their sex-education. To something like, “Wait until marriage, you won’t regret it.” “Want to prevent getting an STD? One of the best ways to do this is to only have one sexual partner for your entire life. Who also has only one sexual partner.” Again I say. How is this a bad thing?
