One year from now, so 365 days from now, I will have graduated from college with a bachelor’s degree in Communication Media with an emphasis in producing. I’m starting my last year of college, ever. I mean unless I decided to get a Master’s degree, which I may but I will probably wait until I’ve worked for a while, gotten married and started a family before that happens.
Home for two and a half weeks for break before starting school again. My school goes 10 weeks of classes with a 2-3 week break and then another 10 weeks. Family is just starting to ask me that question most college students dread. “What are you going to do after graduation?” I should probably figure out the answer to that question. Normally, I like to have everything planned out and in control. But, in this instance I really don’t. I know what I like, but that’s pretty much it.
Things I Like/Am Actually Good At/Am Passionate About:
Meeting New People
Keeping People On Track
Not sure how to integrate what I love to do and what I’m passionate about with a career that I will actually enjoy and that will make a difference in the world. Yes, I want to be able to make enough money that I can travel the world. (Going to Europe this spring and am super excited but want to be able to travel to Sweden (my nationality), across the United States, Paris, backpack throughout Europe (not alone). But money isn’t the only thing that will motivate me to take a job or not take a job. I also want to be my own boss. To do my own thing. Make my own schedule. Be able to travel whenever I want.
