I could go on. What I find really weird is when people ask me “what do you eat?” or “what is vegan food?” Um..vegan food is what you eat that just doesn’t contain animals or animal byproducts. Everyone eats “vegan” food, they just don’t call it vegan. I’m sure that some people even eat vegan all day; if they eat a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for breakfast, bean burritos for lunch and spaghetti for dinner.  When most people grab an apple they don’t say “I’m eating a vegan snack” they say “I’m eating a snack”.

Rant is over. My future roommate asked me what is “vegan” food today as I was walking to the store to get food for the week. I’m going to teach her the ways of a vegan. Which is actually, eat most things that you already eat, but I just don’t include animal products in them.
