Was watching TV and a commerical came on about the food pyramid for kids. No where in this commercial said that you should eat fruit and meat was considered a food group. Dairy was also considered a food group. What? I’m pretty sure protein is the food group and beans, nuts, seeds, etc are considered protein foods.
I was at the dr office and one of the posters said to eat 3 servings of dairy a day.
What is being taught to kids nowadays?
