Vegan Protein

The most common thing I hear as a vegetarian/vegan is protein.  Because the moment that you tell someone that you are vegan/vegetarian everyone becomes an expert in protein and nutrition.  Apparently meat and animal products is the only way that one can get protein.  Here are some vegan examples of protein:

Green peas: 1 cup=7.9g of protein same as a cup of milk

Beans: 2 cups=26g of protein same as a big mac

Chickpeas: 1/2 cup=7.3g of protein

Tofu: 1/2 cup=15g of protein

Raw spinach: 2 cups=2.1g of protein

Broccoli: 1 cup=8.1g protien

Soy Milk: 1 cup=100g protein

Most people need about 46g for women and about 56g for men. Depending on weight of person.
